Despite being the wrong end of the dreadful A11 Forumusic likes to get down to London occasionally especially when Vinyl Vultures from the Very Good Plus forum are gathering for their annual Best Of Brillo. This year the event was held once again at the Three Blind Mice pub in Shoreditch East London.

In December 2012 this slightly cramped cellar with a Dickensian feel had walls reverberating to sounds from around the globe played by an assortment of Very Good Plus regulars.

Far left is Sir Slim aka Wee Gee who regularly spins library grooves, crime-jazz, 60s soundtracks and vintage reggae at his club night called The Fickle Formula at the Three Blind Mice itself.

Regular readers may recognise Tom Bigg (above) who was the first featured Collector on Forumusic sharing a fine selection of Latin sounds with us.

On the right is Tom Watt, a sound man in more ways than one. By day he's the sound man at the Islington Academy in London and by night he's the drummer for fast- rising psych band Wolf People whose latest album Fain was released in May 2013.

Far right at the top; rifling through his 45 box in search of something relentlessly funky is VG+ regular Eclipsechaser Phil. Below Phil is Ninja Simone;a vinyl fiend by night and artist by day.

Not moving as fast as we'd like it to, our series on The 90s Boot Boom nevertheless rolls on to Part 4: 1996 where you can read about how some Dexters were getting extra mileage from their boots by adding
