As happy as I am to have a reissue of the Frog 45 this track is the the one I'm truly grateful to Spoke for waking me up to.

At first listen I quite liked it but after 2 or 3 spins it sunk in - It's ace!!

I've since tracked down the J.A. Friedman album and I love it too. It's got a few cheesey tracks but even they have a weird charm. Luckily although the album is distinctly odd, it's neither psych nor soul which thankfully means it doesn't cost several hundred pounds! I can't find a Youtube clip but the J.A.Freedman 45 of 'Love Got A Mind Of It's Own' is even easier to track down (American copies should be less than £10) and is recommended for anyone who has fallen to 'Don't Mind If I Cry''s charms.

But the big question for me is...

Does Craig (Graig) Douglas have any other gems hidden in his back catalogue?

I've been after his album for yonks - it's on my regular search lists and never turns up - would love to hear it

I absolutely adore 'Love Got A Mind Of It's Own'

With regards to other worthy Craig Douglas tracks, several tracks were laid down with Tony Hatch during the 'Don't Mind...' session but nobody present recalls them (apart for 'Raindrops', of course). Would love a Craig Pop-Sike opus discovery!
