Antony channelled Scott Walker and inspired the young David Bowie in the process.

A truly Marmite track..... :p

I've long been of the opinion that Anthony Newley is one of the great overlooked geniuses - actor, singer, songwriter, absurdist comedian, Eastenders actor - and with that ridiculously expressive and idiosyncratic voice that everyone takes the mick out of. 'What Kind Of Fool Am I?' may very well be the greatest song ever written...

I guess it was you that posted this song on waxidermy. I laughed at the way they reacted to it gotta go some way to be rejected by them. It is a particular taste for sure. Not quite up my street.

I cannot tell a lie Cee....it was I :D. A loner amongst loners as far as our Ant is concerned. :D I might try and work out how to get a track loaded up on YouTube as I'm desperate for Ant's 'Overchewer' to be on there. It's even more Marmite that 'Man who made you laugh.'. I bloody love it.

When I get to my proper computer later I'll post up the intro to Gurney Slade and his weird track Moogies Blues which he did with Delia Derbyshire. Like I said in a cavernously echoing thread. He's a genius.
