The TV`programme should have the same title as they Youtube clip
that'd be much more interesting than what seems to be another classic rock Mojo fest

The kid had 'OK team, we gotta sell this to as many people as possible. Let's make sure that a whole variety of genres is represented regardless of the fact that most people here in the 1970s wouldn't be interested in such a range because the World Wide Web, YouTube, MP3s, Ebay and soundclips aren't here yet' taste. :p

Wahey! A primer to a completely untapped retro genre! Even the waxis aren't onto this shit.

time to get over the pond and snaffle all the Six Fat Dutchmen raers before the locals wake up and go "Who stole the kishka?"

Yes but I bet they only like deep polka or doo-polka or classic rhythm and polka.

As a northern Englishman, I suggest that there is probably a British appetite for brassier, driving polka rarities that American collectors currently shun. There are probably warehouses full of this stuff.

There must be. One of the sellers I check from time to time, has masses of polka 45s, interspersed with garage, soul, funk....all sorts. I might have a cheeky search for polka 45s and see just how much comes up
Just looked. 16 results from UK, 611 international. Spotted the obligatory James Last Polka Party lp
