Northern Soul the film is nearly finished

I was beginning to think this film would never show up after people were talking loads about it a couple of years ago it seemed to just disappear. I'll bet there's a few ns club organisers who'll be hoping it's a huge success and gives their nights a fresh boost of punters when it finally appears late spring early summer.

Excellent news! I had forgotten all about it to be perfectly honest!

I suppose we could dream it'll be as successful as Saturday Night Fever or Grease and inject some raw passion back into music generally?

I'll wager a bet they sweated big time over tiny fashion / style details......

They pretty much trained up loads of younger people to make it look as authentic as possible rather than rely on a load of geriatrics spazzing around in wigs like most other attempts at recreating the time. :rolleyes:

Lisa Stansfield plays a complete b***h in the film apparently.

Just to say Merry Christmas to everyone from the northern soul the film team. We are definitely going to be having a cinema release in 2014 and should have news for you in January on this page. Cheers Moogaloo! I spent an evening in October with 'The King Of The Hipsters' who claimed to have seen some previews and said it looks really good... so it must be damn close!!!
