Been finding it very relaxing, cathartic even, to 'pin' images from Forumusic to Pinterest pages.

90s Boot Boom: 1994: The Year of Funky Soundtracks (http://pinterest.com/forumusic/1994-the-90s-boot-boom-the-year-of-funky-soundtrac/)

When is that page of Mercury Super Stereo Sound going up on the Forumusic site Ian, or am I being blind?

Hi Matt (...you retro Bowie thin white Duke you...)

You're not being blind as I haven't linked it to the main site yet. :o I mentioned it in January Finds and you can see it here.

Mercury Super Stereo Sound for main website / not linked yet (http://www.forumusic.co.uk/mercury_super_stereo.html)

Just a bit of vinyl pr*n really, but someone had to do it!

Looks fantastic Ian - much prefer them on the forumusic site to pininterest. I only have a few of these. Do you have them displayed at home. Does anyone?

Pinterest isn't very Pinteresque, is it?
It needs less weddings, cakes and pets and more blokes in overcoats, uncleared dinner tables, brimming ashtrays and a general sense of tawdry despair and imminent menace.

I just find pinning the Forumusic images to Pinterest a completely mindless but satisfying activity....a total downtime thing. I'll also be tweaking the headings so the pages will be found more easily by people searching 'vinyl,' 'records' etc. Anything that's relaxing to do and drives more hits to the site = good!

I don't have a wall large enough to display them all unfortunately. A couple of them buggers took some finding too! As with the Decca Sounds / Polydor Circle Of Sounds, the more 'boring' they are musically, the harder they are to get.

Fiancée is loving Pinterest for making wedding planning / personal style / fashion boards... Also a whole board with cute furry things on.... :p. Modern day scrapbooking!

Wonderful! I've had a few of those over the years and have always been disappointed by them but collectively they're really something.

Don't underestimate Pinterest. It's huge, particularly in the States and it's one of the top 50 websites globally.

Bloody hell. You're right. Found out it's ranked 35 in the world.
Gotta say it's curiously addictive to do and in just under a week it's pleased me to see Forumusic images 're-pinned' on other boards.

GF told me off for just doing dedicated Forumusic pages though...:o.
