Thanks.

First post is misleading. Only 250 Ltd with towel and 45. The hardback book is a first run of 750.

Handbound in leather, gold foil stamped and proudly printed and bound in the USA,
The Mop First Edition is printed in a limited quantity of 750 units.

250 of these units are encased in a handmade cardboard box containing a promotional 45 by Thes One of People Under The Stairs, gold printed Mop hand towel and individually unique o-band with vintage adult packing material inside.

I presume I got one of the 250 because it allowed me to order.

Just ordered the boxset and I think it went through so I may just have got in under the wire. According to Soul Strut earlier the first 100 box sets have already shipped.

I've got to be completely honest and say I'm not holding out much hope for the 'individually designed' outer box. An aroma of spray mounted pictures on cardboard hits you the second you look at the photograph of them.

I wonder how long before these boxes start popping up on Discogs for twice the price?

Anyone got this yet? Mine dropped a week ago and it's as good as it looks. And the p*rn fairy cushioned the package too. All good.

Just noticed Piecelock 70 have a forum too. (http://www.putsonline.co.uk/forum/)

:D :D :D Fixed....but reaping is fine too. :)

I know you're a busy fella R, but if you read stuff on the Forumusic website and forum we're totally fine with other forums being repped / linked or whatever. (Forumusic is pronounced 'Forum. music.')

We all met via music forums and love checking all of them out. What music fan doesn't? Rep / link / enthuse away to your hearts content!

The 'it's bad form to be a member of one forum and mention another on it' idiot / traitor / our gang / their gang mentality isn't welcome here.

And other forums will only get mentioned positively on our website and forum ( you hear me Stringer?). Check out all mentions of Waxidermy and VG+ in Forumusic articles so far and you'll get the drift. Well travelled VG+ forum members like someblokecalledfuz / LLmod1 have got to know a lot of Waxidermists / Soul Strutters in their travels and both confirm they are not a separate species of human being, just more good record dudes ( strangely enough! )

If someone hangs out here, finds a link to a Waxidermy / Soul Strut / Dj History / VG+ thread or any other long-established music forum, likes what they read and see there and joins up then it's good for everyone. It'll be another music nerd / obsessive type in the gene pool of conversations.

What's the 45 like? I'd really like to order but it's the summer holiday the kids are off school and the spare cash for punting always just disappears into thin air

It's good stuff. A breaks track with lyrics linked to the book, Alan Simpson gets several namechecks / is 'interviewed' and reads from his book in his Austalian accent. B-side is an instumental version by Thes One with live drums on top and synth jamz. Very happy with it.

I'm embarrassed to admit I haven't cracked this yet. Has anyone here read it? I'm hearing good things about it and the possibility of a paperback version.
