I'm always intrigued by the way music influences musicians but even more so by the way they find it. Noel Galllagher having his ears opened and being 'blown away' by the Monstrous Bubble compilations springs to mind.

I find it fascinating that Michael Kiwanuka had never heard The Staple Singers, Sly and The Family Stone and Otis Redding until he got a copy of a free Mojo CD.
